Shigella Test Kit

Overview:

This kit is based on Loop mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) technology and is used for rapid detection of pathogen in food. The results can be directly interpreted using a colorimetric indicator.

Principle:

Using two pairs of special primers and Bst DNA polymerase with chain displacement activity, circular single stranded structures are formed at the binding sites of the primers at both ends of the template. The primers smoothly bind to the template and undergo chain displacement amplification reaction, achieving continuous and rapid amplification under constant temperature conditions (60-65 ℃). Adding a color indicator to the reaction results in a significant difference in color between the positive and negative results, which can be directly interpreted through color changes.

Features:

  1. Quick and convenient: Mix the reaction components such as enzymes and primers evenly and dry them to increase reagent stability. Reduce the solution preparation steps during use, making it more convenient. The entire detection reaction can be completed within 1 hour;
  2. High specificity: Design multiple primers using multiple independent regions on the target gene sequence to ensure high specificity of the amplification reaction;
  3. High sensitivity: The minimum detection limit reaches 15 CFU/Test;
  4. Simple interpretation: Add a color indicator before the reaction, and after the reaction, observe the color change of the reaction solution with the naked eye or track the changes in the fluorescence spectrum with a fluorescence monitoring instrument to interpret the results, which is intuitive and convenient, and can effectively avoid aerosol pollution caused by opening the lid after the reaction.
