The importance of hygiene monitoring can not be emphasized too much. There are multiple ways to do it. First of all, by ATP test. Adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP) is an organic compound that provides energy to drive many processes in living cells. When the cells are lysed, ATP is released in vitro and reacts with luciferin and luciferase under aerobic conditions to generate oxyluciferin as well as emit fluorescence. Therefore, by testing the adenosine tri-phosphate (ATP) from luciferase-luciferins reaction system, level of microorganisms amount can be evaluated, hence the hygiene condition. iena ATP swabs that is compatible with Hygiena ATP detector, and the other one is to be used together with our own ATP fluorescence detector.

Another way is to use sampling sponges, which are composed of a non-fungicidal sponge and a detachable plastic grip handle, packaged in a sterile sampling bag, and pre-moistened with preservation solution such as buffered peptone water (BPW). Sampling hence does not require manual contact with the sponge, making it easy to wipe areas such as drainage outlets, pipelines, workstations, and equipment surfaces and surroundings. It is used for surface sampling to collect and ship microbial samples.

Air Sampler is provided for getting representative sample of airborne bacteria for further microbiological analysis of microorganism in air.
