Pseudomonas aeruginosa nucleic acid detection kit (LAMP)

Overview:

This test is based on Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) technology and is used for rapid detection of pathogen. Two products are available —— LAMP-C and LAMP-F. LAMP-C means that the results can be directly interpreted since the reaction causes color change with the addition of fluorescent dyes. LAMP-F means that the results are interpreted according to the amplification curve based on changes in the fluorescence signal.

Principle:

The LAMP test kit adopts loop mediated isothermal amplification. This method targets 6 segments of the target sequence, using 4 specific primers, 2 loop primers, and a DNA polymerase with strand displacement activity, and completes isothermal amplification at 65℃. For LAMP-C, the amplified product is combined with fluorescent dyes for color development, and the color can be read by the naked eye to determine whether amplification has occurred, hence determining whether the detection object exists. For LAMP-F, by adding a fluorescent dye to the reaction system, the amplification process is monitored in real time using changes in the fluorescence signal, and the results are interpreted based on the amplification curve read through an Isothermal Fluorescence Amplifier or fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument that can amplify 0.2mL PCR tubes.

Features:

  1. Quick and convenient: Reduce the solution preparation steps during use, making it more convenient. The entire detection reaction can be completed within 1 hour;
  2. High specificity: Design multiple primers using multiple independent regions on the target gene sequence to ensure high specificity of the amplification reaction;
  3. High sensitivity: The minimum detection limit reaches 1000 cfu/mL;
  4. Simple interpretation: Results reading by observing the color change of the reaction solution with the naked eye or track the changes in the fluorescence spectrum with a fluorescence monitoring instrument to interpret the results, which is intuitive and convenient.
