Test Range:
- Acid value (AV): 0-5.0 (KOH)mg/g;
- Peroxide value (PV): 0-0.60g/100g (0-50 meq/kg);
Test steps:
1) Take a moderate amount of cooking oil sample into a clean and dry container.
2) Let the oil sample temperature reach 25±5℃ until test.
3) Take out a test strip from the package.
4) Immerse the test strip in the oil sample and take it out after 1-2 second.
5) Use absorbent paper to remove excess oil sample.
6) Lay the test strip flat with the front side facing up, and let it stand for 90 second.
Reference to the colorimetric card, determine the AC and PV based on the color on the test area. If the color is between the adjacent colorimetric standards, then the average value is chosen.
